Prao type – container feeder
Container feeder often consists in transport of few TEUs for isolated place weekly replenishment. In order to access shallow water area, draft shall be rather limited and having a second hull may be provided such possibility. The other advantage of such an architecture is to avoid requirement for heavy harbour lifting capacity by keeping ship crane access to the overall cargo area without compromising on the sail area.
Two SolidSail 800 can be accommodated on the side hull.
